Does anyone have any suggestions regarding act 2011 not supporting office 64 bit. Act indicates it will currently only support office 2010 32 bit. This is problematic because I'm getting a new computer and it makes sense to go with 64 bit architecture but act will not support office 2011 64 bit.

Welcome to the ACT! Online Community. In regards to your question, basically to get ACT! to integrate with 64 bit versions of Office, we would need to recompile the entire product and offer a separate 64 bit edition of ACT!. We are actually looking at this scenario, but not for the immediate release of ACT! 2011. Unfortunately, you would be hard pressed to find any applications that can successfully integrate with Office 64-bit, not even other Microsoft products. The 32-bit version of Office 2010 will work just fine on a 64-bit system.
Note: Effective 6/1/13, Sage no longers provides support for the Act! software. This is now provided by Swiftpage.

Microsoft itself recommends Office 201 64 bit only if you are using large spreadsheets. See here for advantages and disadvantages http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ee681792.aspx and it won't work with ACT! or some other software.
