access denied

I am getting the error access to the path 'C:\programdatat\sagesoftwareindc\saceact13.111.importcsv.text

 

I am unalbe to import excel files as well as recently unable to save to my database to my desktop

Hello angela,
This may be a permissions issue caused by User Account Control in Windows. Try opening ACT! by right-clicking on the program icon and selecting 'Run As Administrator' (instead of just double-clicking the icon).

See if you can browse to that file path and verify the file is there.
