Yes/No True/False?

Hi,

When I create a report in Act the Yes/No box field return yes or no in the final report which is just what is needed

BUT

when you do the same in a mail merge into Word you get the answer True/False and the same applies when you merge into the Act word processor.

Does anyone know if there is a fix or a work around for this?

Thanks,

Rueben

Re: Yes/No True/False?

Those are different interpretations of what is actually stored in the database which is 0 for false and -1 for true.

Re: Yes/No True/False?

So is there any way to make them appear as Yes/No in the mail merge into word?

I'm no expert but maybe something you could change in the field codes... here's the field code as it appears in word from a Yes/No.

DOCVARIABLE  [ACTFIELD]TBL_CONTACT.CUST_KeyPersonDoubleTPD_032612107

Thanks in advance for your help Smiley Happy

Unfortuntely had already found this article when I googled my problem, but im not an expert with Word field codes so not sure how i would go about altering the code to make the True appear as a Yes and False appear as a No.

Seems like this has come up before, and I don't recall that it was ever solved...
