Wrong user and/or password

Using ACT!9 for a while I never had a password for my database and I am the only user. For test purpose I created a new database and deleted it. After this procedure my originally used database does not accept the login procedure as before. Thanks for help.

Re: Wrong user and/or password

If you really are the only one user of the database and without password, ACT would not ask you for login, even if you logged you in an other database.

Do you have an error message when opening your database?

Did you try your usual logins and password?

Re: Wrong user and/or password

Hi, thanks for your answer. The error message is that user and/or password are not authorized. The system always prompts the last user name and request the password. Since I have no password I just push the Enter key and usually was logged in.

Hi,

You may be able to recover the username from either the ACTDiag or the Regsitry.

Take a look at this kb..
