Having a problem with Sage Act Pro 2011 and the Write>Email message (from template) option. Brings up the window to select which template to use all fine, but once the relevant one is chosen it closes the window, flashes up the status "Merging contacts 1 of 1" (when sending to a single recipient) then nothing else happens. On occasion (seemingly at random) it will actuall proceed to open Outlook as it should, but most of the time it just seems to get stuck after mergin the contacts stage.
It's Outlook 2010 by the way. The link between Outlook and Act is definitely there, but for some reason I can't fathom it doesn't want to work as it should consistently.
Anyone else experienced anything like this? Anything I can do to get to the route of the issue?

we've seen this happen when there are too many temp files.
Delete all the files you can in c:\windows\temp and local user temp files (start>>run>>type %temp%)
We had a client of ours that had over 200,000 temp files. We nuked all the temp files and all was well.
The source of all those temp files was dropbox, in case anyone was wondering.
