Would ACT run faster with the database on a different physical drive?

Mikes answer to my post Access ACT database from another Windows user account led me on to thinking - can the ACT database be on a different physical (not logical) drive on the same computer, and would it be faster?

Shouldn't make any real difference. I just bulit a new system, it's a 64-bit Windows 7 OS, 8 gig RAM, and a 7200 RPM hard drive. Launch to ACT! database open is about 10-seconds.
