Glad I asked! In Step 3 of the article, when deleting keys from Windows Registry, I have SQLAGENT$SQLEXPRESS in ControlSet001and ControlSet002. Also, in ControlSet002, I have MSSQL$SQLEXPRESS.
Delete these as well though they are not listed in the keys to delete?
Thanks!

Followed the instructions. Manually added SQL 2008 per instructions given in previous article. Am using a disk to install ACT! 2012 and recieved this error:
Sage ACT! Pre-requisite has encounted an error and needs to close.
Clicked "OK" and received this error:
SQL Server did not install successfully. Review installation Guide, product requirement and retry.
From Microsoft's site, I downloaded the SQL file labeled "SQLEXPR_x64_ENU" as this is the file listed for 64-bit systems, which I have. Should I have downloaded "SQLEXPR_x86_ENU" instead?
Thanks!

I see that you are still covered by the 30-Day Getting Started support plan. At this point, I recommend calling support for assistance. The phone number is 800-927-3989. Also see your Private Notes.
