Windows Hibernation

What is "best practices" for ACT! - Should a salesperson leave the ACT! program open on their computer and close the lid of the computer throughout the day.  Is this harmful to the ACT! program or the database?

We have seen cases where it doesn't wake up well. and requires a reboot of the computer.  i"ve not seen corruption,...  Sugestion would be do so at your own risk.  Smiley Happy

I would normally recommend closing any database program when system likely to hibernate.

But, like Jon, I haven't seen any specific issues I can put to it other than it might hiccup when starting because the service might take longer to restore than the UI
