I just completed an upgrade from Windows Professional 8 to 8.1.
In using the dialer, it was working fine, but starting yesterday every dial I made will not hang up. The round circle remains on the talk/hang up dialogue box. The only way I've been able to end the call is to close ACT. Of course, I also have to use the task manager to get ACT to quit running so that I can restart it.
I've been using the dialer all throughout the use of ACT 2016 and Windows 8.

Hi Mike. It's good to hear from you - hope the new year is going well for you.
The modem is not hanging up either by itself and definitely not from the dialogue box since it hangs.
Good suggestion looking for a new driver for the modem.
I'll let you know if I find one.
