Windows 7 fails to start after installing ACT! 2012

After installing the demo of Act 2012, when Windows 7 restarts it often fails and locks up before completing the restart, I have also had some lockups after successful restarts. On every restart, even the successful ones, my Raid has to rebuild and repair. When I uninstall Act 2012, there are no issues. It have uninstalled and reinstalled several times and the results are the same each time.

 

Any ideas out there?

Hello Mark,
Welcome to the Sage ACT! Community. This sounds like something in your startup may be conflicting with ACT!. If you do a selective startup with ACT! installed, does the same thing occur? See if you can use selective startup to narrow the cause. You may also want to check your Windows Event Logs to see if there was an application or system error recorded.
