Re: Windows 7 64 bit and Act 2009

Got it to update, but now it blocks everything below the "Last Results" line. when I add a note, there is no way to see that note. That entire section is now gone.
Getting more than a little frustrated with ACT.

ACT 2009 can have problems running on Windows 7/ It was never certified for Windows 7. You ahould consider upgrading.

Try hovering the mouse near the bottom of the program window to the the up/down arrow pointer.  You may be able to drag the tabs back up.

This can occur with customized monitor DPI settings.  Here is an article with instructions for resetting the DPI: KB Article 26349

Re: Windows 7 64 bit and Act 2009

got it to display properly.

Now my issue is no matter what I try, I cannot get the data over.

Tried importing, tried copying, tried save as, nothing works.  It's as if the original backup does not exist.

I saved the databases on another drive and may have to import using dBase and scroll through to update those fields I cannot map.  I'll sure be glad when this nightmare is over and I have my data updated and secure on Windows7.
