Act Tech Support told me that Act 16 is not compatible with Windows 10.
However, I was able to install it and use most functions, but I can't make it work for emailing, which is immensely frustrating.

Thanks for the confirmation. It would be one thing if it just didn't run, but in this case, it clobbered the install.

I just found another issue with ACT Pro Version 16 operating under Windows 10. When writing e-mails from ACT, to a contact residing in the database, the e-mail no longer attaches itself in the history file. I was doing fine up and until August 18th. Why the sudden disconnect. I checked all my settings in "Tools" and "Preference" and they all seem to be correct. Any clue Brittany as to why this might be happening?

I'm also having emailing problems, and Swiftpage won't help with it. They just say v16 is not compatible with Windows 10 and to upgrade to Premium.

Will the new Web Client for ACT Premium work with Windows 10? When I try installing the web client, it gives me an error to something of the effect of "Windows 10 will not allow". Any suggestions?

Hi Interiorfusion,
The Act! development team is currently testing Windows 10 with future versions of Act! These test will also include our Web client. I will submit an update regarding the relationship between Act! and Windows 10 as soon as possible.
Thank you,
Brittany Roberts

Thank you Brittany! I do really like Windows 10 and it would sure be nice if ACT! worked well in that environment.

HI Britney - I am running Act ProV17. Are there any report issues for people that have upgraded to Windows 10. I am currently running Windows 8.1. Thanks
Ron

Rgaynor - I have ACTProV16 and got luckey when downloading Windows 10. I experienced minor issues which I was able to resolve except for an error message which appears when closing ACT. I reported this to Britney and unfortunately ACT will only work on future ACT Versions in order to make them fully compatible with Windows 10. Hope this helps
