When an email is attached to the database, a copy of the email message is created and contained within the database files. Removing the email from Outlook will not affect the copy contained within the database.
so regardless of what happens in Outlook, all e-mail history will be recorded to ACT contacts, even if they are deleted in Outlook or archived in Outlook? Additionally, are they saved as text e-mails or do you click on the paperclip and then it actually opens the e-mail so it saves it as an "attachment" in the ACT history? the reason we are looking at doing this is our outlook is at 2.5 GB and freezes and locks up because of all of the Add-Ins that we have to use in order for act to work. Please advise if you have any experience/knowledge of Outlook 2010 freezing and locking up because of its association with and how to fix it. Thank you
