Will 2007/9.0 work with Windows 7?

[ Edited ]

I have been using Act forever. I use (and love 4.0) because of the notes/history format.  I save notes - not emails.

I bought Act 7 (9.0) but never switched for that reason. Now, I have Windows 7 / 64-bit and Act 4.0 will not work.

Will 2007/9.0 work with Windows 7?

Can I remove parts of Act I don't want/use (sales leads/opportunities)?

Thanks for your help.

Hello jnelson296,

In answer to your question regarding ACT! 2007 and Windows 7, unfortunately that version of ACT! is not supported with Windows 7. The only version of ACT! that is officially supported with that operating system is ACT! 2010 (12.0), although we have had a number of users report successfully using ACT! 2009 (11.0) in a Windows 7 environment. In regards to your question regarding removing features, the answer is no, since ACT! is not a modularized program you cannot exclude primary features such as Opportunities.

Note: Effective 6/1/13, Sage no longers provides support for the Act! software. This is now provided by Swiftpage.
