Why can't I sync

I have been syncing between my laptop (remote) and desktop (Master) but now when I attempt to sync it only syncs my record. I must have changed something but don't know what. Are there any special settings I should check?

What do you mean "it only syncs my record"?
Changes to that record sync but no others?
Have you checked the sync set?
Have you tried changing data at both Publisher (desktop) and Subscriber (laptop)?
Single or multi user?
What version of ACT! - full build from help | about?
