When Will ACT have Microsoft Office 2013 compatibility

When can i expect to use ACT with Microsoft office?  Its getting pretty strange that this isnt happening.  First issues with Windows compatibility and now with Office.

Emails , contact and calendar ... although, I really don't like the contacts/calendar sync, it has been working

Re: When Will ACT have Microsoft Office 2013 compatibility

I use Windows 8 and Office 2013.  Sage has nothing posted except they are not compatible.

I have no ability to sync my contacts or calendars, nor can I attach emails to contacts in any way.

I would love to see any settings I can try to at least attach the emails.  I don't require the sync to work.  However, in Outlook I cannot find the manual options for attaching an email to an ACT contact !]

I'd love to hear how you have made this work.

Do you have Service Pack 1 applied to ACT! 2013?

That was the build that added support for Windows 8 and allowed connection to Office 2013

Re: When Will ACT have Microsoft Office 2013 compatibility

Yes I do.  Its interesting that I was able to get it to work on my notebook which has a synced database on it.  However, on my main computer it does not see the ACT address book and does not have it as a type.  The utility won't add it as a type either.  The next suggestion was to rename a mapi32.dll and run the fixmapi utility, but the system is blocking the rename ...

Guess I have more research to do.
