What if One Contact is a Part of Multiple Companies?

We have a client who is the President of a major company, and also the head of a smaller company.

We don't mind linking him directly to the major company via the Company Field, but is there a place on a Contact to add additional companies if he/she is a part of more than one?

You can add him to the smaller company by going to the Groups/Companies tab while on his contact record.

Change the "Show For" drop down to Companies and Divisions, and then click the "Add/Remove Companies" button.

Company Records in ACT! are pretty much the same as Group records but with the additional fields and linking thing...

Although you can only 'Link' a Contact to one Company you can also use the Company Static/Dynamic membership to attach to other Companies. However the additional Memberships will not be 'Linked' but just Members.
