I am using V19 and Chrome, and having issues with the website field. The hyperlink does not always work. I think the field type is correctly set for a hyperlink. When i put the cursor over the link, something the cursor changes to a hand and the link works and other times it does not. Some addresses i have written with http//www. and other website I do not have http//www.and have the same issues with both.

I think you should try to use http://www.

Hi mbenwitt,
Let me explain how this field works, as it should help you understand why this might not be working every time for you.
When you first move your mouse cursor into this field from another field, then the hand cursor is shown immediately. Upon clicking, your browser will open the link. If you then go back to Act!, you'll notice that the vertical cursor is now in this field, and you are able to edit the link address. when the cursor is in this 'edit mode', you aren't able to click on the link again until you exit the 'edit mode' by clicking or tabbing into another field. When you now return to the Web Site field and hover the cursor over this field, it will present you with the hand cursor again, and you'll be able to open the link again.
If your cursor was in 'edit mode' in a Web Site field, and you move to another contact record, the cursor will still be in the Web Site field on the next contact, and 'edit mode' will still be in effect. Just click out of the field, and click back on it to open the link.
There is another feature that allows you to edit the link without first opening the page. If you hover your cursor over the Web Site field, you'll see the hand cursor, but if you keep it hovered there for a couple of seconds, it will turn into the vertical line cursor, and you'll be able click and edit the link in 'edit mode' immediately.
It is therefore best practice that you click on the link quickly, and not hover too long before clicking to avoid accidental 'edit mode'.
It's worth noting that http://www is not required in the field. Anything can be typed into this field and become a link to open in a browser.
The email fields operate in this same way.
