No. No version of ACT! can support the x64 version of Outlook ... Thus shouldn't be a surprise as many Microsoft products can't integrate with it either

Many thanks for the detailed information.

(It's still a disapointment that it does not have Outlook 2010 64-bit support, as this is something you would expect.)

In order for it to connect to Outlook 2010 x64, it needs to be re-written as x64 code.

The problem with this is that they use some third-party components (eg the Com1 report writer) that are not available in x64

Yes, it is a good point that if leading software companies like Sage ACT! and Adobe (such as Adobe Acrobat X) can't offer compatibility with Outlook 2010 64-bit, there are laying some major issues behind this problem.

Google and even Microsoft themselves can't get older products to be compatible.

Office x64 is new... it will take a while before other products can update for it

It's not always the vendor that of the product you buy that's delaying it, but the third-party components that many of them use that need to get updated first before the vendor can start updating their own products.

That's really weird.... I have no idea why it repeated that line and when I tried to edit it, it got worse.

Yup, as stated, even Microsoft at this time recommend using Office 32 Bit rather than 64 bit.

The reason is that many third party components are not yet 64 bit.

This means that while it a lot may work, it won't work with everything.

Having just attended Insights10 (Sage Conference) here in Australia, I got to raise this very issue with their Head of Product Management, the issue is that there are third party components that are not yet available in x64. This means that while Sage are ready, they can't compile a x64 version until their vendors give them the component in x64.
