How do I view the full headers of an email? I have View | Message Header turned on, but all it shows is the abbreviated header. How do I view the full header showing the routing, etc.
TIA!

Most users link it to Outlook... it is the best option.
And especially the technical users who might want to see the headers would use Outlook
So, I guess the question has never been asked...

What version of ACT! (the full build from Help | About)?
What email system (Outlook, Internet Mail, etc)?

Sorry, I thought it might be a generic question...
I'm using ACT2007 and its native email - not hooked to Outlook or anything.
Version 9.0.1.162, Hotfix 3 on Vista Home Premium and laptop with 1GB RAM.
Also, I've noticed the ACT email client crashes with a "Problem with program"
dialog box now and then mostly when sending, but I haven't been able to
pinpoint any sequence to cause it.

This used to be possible with ACT! 5/6 as IML, IMA and EML files (depending on the version) were HTML including the headers.
With ACT! 7 and later, they are in a SQL message store... and not sure if the info you want is stored, or if it is, how to access it.
maybe switch to Outlook, where that's easier?

Re: outlook
I was trying to avoid interfacing with yet another tool designed someplace else and all the potential hair involved in that.
Right now the question is academic and I'm not going to be using it all that much so hopefully I'll never need to look at it. I'm surprised that there's no easy way to do this.
