Does anyone know of a way to view contacts based on a particular date + a number of days.
Basically we have a field, called GOER which is a date field. In this field we enter the date particular literature is sent to the customer.
After 3 days we follow up with the prospect to ensure they have got their literature as a courtesy.
Is there a way of creating a dynamic group that basically selects GOER Date + 3 days is today. So each day that users look at the group it shows a list of contacts that need to be chased up today.

What version of ACT! (the full build from Help | About)?
In ACT! 2008/2009:
Field Name = GOER
Operator = Within Next (days)
Value = 3

So i have changed one of my contacts GOER date to be 24th Oct.
Made a group with the criteria specified earlier...but i'm not getting that contact appear in my group list.

Where are you looking?
you can see more instructions in this ACT! Knowledge Base article - http://tinyurl.com/6l5qns

Did you refresh the view or switch to another group and back?
If it still doesn't show, must the the formula... I think ACT! 2009 has some default groups like "Recently Edited". Have a look at the rule there - if not in your DB, certainly in the Demo

the reason why this isn't working is because the way the operator that you have specified works is that it add on the number of days to the current date and then if the GOER field is more than that date then contacts are displayed. So It actually added on 3 days to the date today (30/10/2008) and was looking for contacts where goer was greater than this date.
I will play around further with the operators and see if i can work something out.
