Version Question

Hi,

 

We are just looking at the product for our sales guys, we are currently cloud hosted for our network, so things like Outlook are hosted within a secure environment. I haven't got to the bottom of the specs of the software yet, but does anyone have experience with working with a CITRIX based network.

I'm erring to going with the ACT! hosted version so the team can access the data in the software from anywhere rather than into our cloud, and then onto the software, but the syncing with contacts and outlook may be an issue, I have asked my cloud guys the same question.

ACT! can be installed into  a Citrix environment and if Outlook is also hosted on Citrix the integration will work for you, we have many clients with that setup. It's flexible and low maintenance in our experience. The term 'cloud' is unfortunately loosley defined and often taken advantage of in marketing claims. I believe the most helpful definition for the unfortunate term 'cloud' should encompass remote desktop solutions such as Citrix and should not be confined to access via browser based or software as a service (saas).
