Using Act 2009 with IMAP email accounts

Has anyone had any success setting up Act with an internet based email that is IMAP not POP3?

I am receiving a failure when I get to the test connection

Failed to find outgoing server

Failed to find incoming server

Failed to send test email

What Mike said, as the Internet Mail option via ACT! only supports POP3 for Outgoing Mail, SMTP for incoming.

While I don't know if enough users want it (using IMPA without Outlook or Outlook Express), you might post a request for this feature to be considered for a future version here - http://www.act.com/community/feature

Input from this web page goes directly into a database that management has direct access to read, and which they also track and gather statistics on.

POP3 is incoming mail

SMTP is outgoing
