I use Act 2006, my computer crashed last week. I managed to get the Act reinstalled on my company computer and am now trying to retrieve my backed up data, over a year old. When I use the restore as feature it asks for a username and a password. I don't remember ever entering a username or password. Any advice would be appreciated. How many guesses at my username and password do I have before I am locked out?

Welcome to the community. I am sorry you are having some issues with your database. Unfortunately this version is no longer supported. I have provided a link below that will direct you in getting the user name and password issue resolved. Just follow the instructions that is provided from that link.
