Username and password for Restore as database feature

I use Act 2006, my computer crashed last week.  I managed to get the Act reinstalled on my company computer and am now trying to retrieve my backed up data, over a year old.  When I use the restore as feature it asks for a username and a password.  I don't remember ever entering a username or password.  Any advice would be appreciated.  How many guesses at my username and password do I have before I am locked out?

Thanks Doug

Doug,

Welcome to the community. I am sorry you are having some issues with your database. Unfortunately this version is no longer supported. I have provided a link below that will direct you in getting the user name and password issue resolved. Just follow the instructions that is provided from that link.

Doug,
You can also take a look at the following Knowledgebase article:

Chances are you do not have a password, just a username. Try variations of your own name. I don't believe there is a limit to the number of attempts you can make.
