Full of questions recently I know. My latest one is regarding user permissions.
We're in the process of adding users to our database (ACT! 2010), and would like to limit access for some. We're happy for them to be able to see the entire database, but we would like to restrict them from making any changes to the database - i.e. adding or deleting stuff.
Is this possible and how could it be achieved?

There are 5 security roles/levels you can choose from when setting up an Act! User. It sounds as if Browse is the role you will want to select.
