User Preferences lost after Define fields edits made

Sage ACT Pro 2011 Vsn 13.1.111.0, hot Fix 6 5user license, only 3 active users and we all have Admin rights.

Seems like anytime I define fields or drop down lists, at least 1 user is losing preferences.

At first it was just the customization of the left control panel (she didn't want to see all the buttons).

Today she had to reset her calendar preferences and she was started in the Welcome screen rather than her preferred screen.

Anyone else encounter this?

Wouldn't user preferences be saved on their C: drive?

Hello suewhoserves,
Usually lost preferences are machine-specific. Have her try manually rebuilding her preferences file per the instructions in the bottom half of this Knowledgebase article:

Re: User Preferences lost after Define fields edits made

Preferences are in the application data folder and my experience say there are typically other issues when these begin to go missing and often I have found removing completly and recreating from scratch is the best option.
