Wondering if someone can answer my question below?
I am using ACT Premium V19.
At the moment I have a list of layouts that I have populated in the layout drop down box for the Opportunities section within ACT.
My question is can I set a default layout in the list so that every time ACT is opened and users go to the opportunities section it will be set
to the one I have specified.
I also don't want to change the default layout of any other tabs within ACT for example like the companies, contacts etc. If I specify a layout I want it to be set for opportunities only. I would like to created default layouts and amend them in each section in ACT is this possible?

If you select the layout that you want, it should stick and be your default for that tab. Once selected, it will not change until changed again. You will need to select the layout on each users' workstation. It will not change any of the other layouts in your database, such as Contact, Company, etc.
