Upgrading to Act 2010...Will History, Notes & Activities information transfer?

Hi -

I have been running ACT 2005 and want to upgrade to ACT 2010 (on Windows 7 64bit)

When I upgrade, will I be able to transfer all the NOTES and ACTIVITES and HISTORY entries I have for all of my contacts? i don't want to lose any of my Note, History or Activites.

Also, will I be able to transfer my database layout, or will I have to create a new layout in Act 2010??

Many Thanks.

You backup the database in ACT! 2005 and Restore_As on the new system and it will convert all of the database and additional files for you.

Very simple

As Mike points out, all of your existing data and customizations should migrate to the new version.

Aside from all the cool stuff that Act! has to offer, this is one of the great advantages of not moving from one system to another...
