Upgrading to 2010 errors - the field does not support >64 characters

Hello, I am upgrading a from a older version of act to ACT 2010, and getting a couple of errors:

This is part of migration to a new laptop so the new version is on the new laptop.

The database upgrade does not work with the following errors:

Unable to convert the attachment C:\xxx|xxxxx

I have a bunch of files that it can't convert.

I am assuming these attached file conversions are not the show stopper, but that the following field size error is a big problem.

The big error I believe is:

The Opportunity_field_1 field does not support a value size greater than 64

So I loaded the new ACT2010 on to the new laptop and copied the files over so that I can run he conversion there while the user continues to use the old laptop until we get this working properly. I then tried to load ACT 2010 on the old laptop so I could run the conversion there, but it wants the license number and I don't want to install the license on the old laptop.

Any direction on how to proceed is appreciated.

Thanks

Doug

Any one know what I can delete in the old database so that this conversion will run?

Any help appreciated.

Thanks
