Upgrading from 2009 to 2010 - will this work?

Hello,

I want to upgrade from ACT! pro 2009 to ACT! pro 2010. The primary reason for doing this is to get the ACT mobile service. Why not 2011? Cost and a general disposition for NOT buying the latest version of anything.

I came across this Ebay auction - http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=120745903416&ssPageName=ADME:X:RTQ:US:1123

My question is this: will the software above allow me to upgrade? The seller says it comes with a license.

One more question - we have two users so I assume we'll need to upgrade both, correct?

Yes you will need two licenses. There may be a license with the copy from ebay but there may be no activations left. You should update to ACT! 2011 if you even anticipate moving to Office 2010. ACT! 2010 doesn't support Office 2010.

We might be sticking with office 2003 for the next year, the next step would be office 2007. Sounds like I'm taking a chance on this Ebay version, but for $30 what the heck.

One copy won't do you any good. By the way, check Amazon, they appearently still have ACT! 2010 copies and they are new in the box.

* $30 each, or $60.
