The instructions I received with my upgrade to version 11 of ACT for Financial Professionals is an interesting read. So many pages are spent talking about upgrading from ver 6.x, ACT PRemium etc... never once does it mention if you are upgrading from Financial Professional 10 to 11. Sooo I assume that the last section of the upgrade instructions are all I need to do. In a nutshell... backup the database files and run the setup. Could someoone confirm for me please. I understand that installation instructions often cover all the versions out there... but it s a little disheartening when you receive your upgrade and ther eis no mention of the version you are running. Just want to make sure that I do it rightt the nfirst time.
