Upgrade to V23 super smooth & working fine!

Many thanks to Michael Moldofsky. He has helped others in this forum and I reached out to him through LinkedIn for a question.  v23 is working great.  Took me about 30 minutes from download to working.  With V21 Update 4, my Mail Merges were going out 50% to 100% blank.  I use Outlook 365.  Act & Outlook I use as apps on the Dell PC.   Who knows about tomorrow but today...super happy with Act.

 

Any super cool email add-ons you folks recommend to improve upon my set-up?

I use two:

1.  eMailConnectPro from www.actaddons.eu - Very helpful for managing eMails.  

 

2.  Exponenciel's Skype Plugin - this plus the $2.99/mo charge from Microsoft to call US, Canada, and Mexico is well worth the money.

I have found one annoying thing... when clicking on Insert New Note button and the pop-up appears, you have to click enter to have the curser appear in the box.  I would pay to have the curser appear automatically to save the step of having to click Enter to start entering information for every new note

I'm using v22.1 and it works same way. So must have worked the way you are saying back in v21.1. 

 

If this was THE single and/or biggest issue with v23 I'd be a VERY happy camper!

I agree. I generally use history and rarely use notes.

I skipped v22 upgrade due to the comments here.  They've hired several new executives including a really top notch VP of Product Management.  I’ve messaged them about this cursor issue.  She’s there less than a month and looks forward to hearing from long-time users.  I wasn’t rude. Just straight forward… almost 30 years of using Act!, it has had ups & downs… it has helped me make a lot of money…. I tend to use Notes a good deal and prefer anything 5at reduces keystrokes.  

Plus, I never use History. It basically automatically tracks deleted accounts
