I am updating a database which was created in 5.0 to 2009 v11. The database was created by a former employee and he gave me the password to use the database but I did not know this was not the Admin password till I tried to update the database to 9.0.
Is there a way to upgrade this or a way to find the password?
Any help is appreciated.

Contact an ACT! Certified consultant in your area. http://www.act.com/partners/acc/find/index.cfm
He/She should have a utility that will retrieve ACT 5 usernames and passwords.
