Updating

Have received notice of an available update, when I try to download, I receive a message saying "Must be a Windows Administrator to perform this task."  I am the administrator and the only user.  How do I get around this?

Re: Updating

When you start the ACT! program, right click on the icon and select Run as Administrator, otherwise you not really an administrator.

Re: Updating

I have the same problem!!

I don't want to get paid support from Sage, because its very bad. I once got a tip from them on how to do something and had to spend hours with support on line to fix my machine after the problem they caused. We were never able to implement the feature they were promoting. So if support cant make their software run, why should I pay for their help.

In any case, did you ever find a solution to this. (There are about 10 bugs I can tell you about with this new version (11). Act! was much better before being purchased by SAGE.!!!

Re: Updating

Thanks!!!

That is some funky logic there. But it works. Doing an upgrade (crossing my fingers tightly) Hope the medicine is not worse than the desease.

Thank you very much, you have been very helpful
