Updating from v11 to v16 Schema issue

When trying to open up v11 db initially within v16, I am getting the error "exceptions occured while executing the database Schema Update script".  

 

ANy help on this?  It is on XP home edition (32 bit)

It may just be a resource issue.  How much memory do you have in the machine? You will want to maximize that, so close everything else when you are doing the upgrade.

Recommend New PC-Operating System if possible, should have at least 4+ gig ram and 2.1 ghz cpu...

It's a fairly big investment to get all this powerful software running on a os that microsoft no longer supports.

Just my opinion.
