Updating from ACT 8.0 to 9.0

Hi all,


My company is running ACT 9.0 but I only have 8.0 installed. I've tried using the updater tool as well as the download patch that's posted on the website to no avail. Anyone know why this is happnening? I'm running Windows 7 for what it's worth.

Hello jwasbin,
Welcome to the Sage ACT! Community. Unfortunately, you have two issues at hand. First, in order to access the same data, all users must be on the same you will need to install ACT! 2007 (9.x). But, that leads to the second issue in that ACT! 2007 is not supported on Windows 7. I would advise that you and your company upgrade to ACT! 2012.
