Currently have Act! Pro Version 16.0.291.0, Hot Fix 5, running locally on Windows 7.
Trying to update to SP3 to overcome the known issue caused by Microsoft .NET 4.6.2 regarding crashing when attaching documents in History tab. (see related threads)
Logged onto Act as Administrator by right clicking on Act icon on desktop, chose Help...Act! Update...., it says updates are available, starts downloading that update, then says "This update does not apply to this version of ACT!, please verify you have the correct update." Stuck here because Act! Update chose what to try to download. Thanks.

No problem downloading the file act16sp3hf1.exe from the link you suggested. However, upon running that file, the same error message appears:
"This update doesn't apply to this version of ACT!, please verify you have the correct update."

Hi JH_WHHF,
You probably need to download and install SP3 first before trying to install SP3 Hotfixes?
Try http://cdn.act.dlm.swiftpage.com/3617/act_pro16_sp3x11_us_update.exe first then try the HF3.
