The Universal Search does not work. I get the following error message:
"A connection error occured when running your search and no results are available to dispaly. Please contact your administrator."
I am the administrator. I am running Act! PRO on a Windows 7 machine . I did restart ACT! Serrvice Host and ACT! Smart Task Service Host but that did not work. I also can't serch or filter by right clicking in a field. This is running on my computer only and not a network.

Launch ACT! by right clicking on the icon and choosing Run as Administrator and see if that changes anything.

You need to Google User Access Control (UAC). this is significant for Windows 7.
