Re: Uninstall Addins, How to?

Some addins will add an uninstall choice in your windows Start menus programs.

Others may be listed in the Add/Remove programs control panel app.

Really basic ones, you will have to remove the file(s) from the ACT! plugins folder (be sure that ACT! is closed and that you know which files!).

Re: Uninstall Addins, How to?

I have the same question.  I basically want to remove all Act default plugins from Microsoft Office.  We are using Act Pro 2011 and I do not see any uninstall choice in Start menu programs, and no option in Control Panel to remove plugins.  Right now, when I open Microsoft Word or Excel, it loads the Act Plugin.  I know I can manually remove this from within Word or Excel, but since we are running this on a Remote Desktop Services server, we would have to do this for lots of users.  On the server we have this folder, C:\Program Files (x86)\ACT\Act for Windows\Plugins  can I safely remove all the files in this folder or is there a better way to globally remove/disable all the default Act Plugins?
