I am going to uninstall ACT16 and try to reinstal. I read somewhere about not using the CD to unistall but using another program, however the only one I saw is for ACT 2012 or ACT2011. What's the best way to Uninstall? I have a remote DB and all my files. Will those remain intact?
The reason to uninstall is i have not been able to Sync successfully with Outlook or send emails for 2 days with no indication of what is causing it and no idea how to repair. I have tried numerous solutions with no success. I have never had a problem with Outlook sync for 2 years including ACT16 but for some strange reason this just happened over the past 2 days with no warning. I posted another thread on the topic with more detail

Rarely is an uninstall/reinstall the right way to fix an issue
Especially as Outlook issues are often with Outlook, not Act!
Do you have a good, current backup (both Publisher and Remotes)?
This should be automated with the scheduler as per:

I have scheduler set up to back-up. I noticed there is not a way for Admin to Sync the Remote, only the other way around? Is there a way to set the Remote to auto-sync?
