Unable to install after crash

I was trying to install Act 2007.  The install of the SQL components went fine, but my system hung near the end of the application instalation.  Now when I try to install, I get the error "The version of ACT! you are trying to install is the same as your current version"

I have uninstalled ACT 2000, and uninstalled the SQL components. ACT 2007 is not showing in Windows XP Add/Remove programs window, and I have dug up and remove every ACT and Sage registry key I can find.  After rebooting, I still get the same error. It occurs after I choose the English language version.

Help! Any ideas for what I might be missing?

Thanks

Run the ACT! Uninstaller.exe from the KB linked below.  Make sure to follow the instructions documented.
