Unable to delete contacts

Hi im having problems with my ACT i cant delete contacts im set as a standard role in my ACT

Hi elyonbrow...

 

A standard user should be able to delete a record the he/she created.  I am not a technician, but I believe that is the case.

Hello Elyonbrown2000,

Welcome to the Act! Online Community!

 

Two other considerations for your situation:

1. Are you trying to delete a 'User' record?  You cannot delete user records without them first being removed from the 'Manage Users' screen (Standard users will not have access to that function).

2. 'Delete Contacts' is a permissions option for Standard user.  If you were not given that permission when your username was set up, you will not be able to delete contacts.  You will have to have the Administrator check your permissions.
