Unable to change path for record history in Outlook

I am using ACT 2008 (v.10) with Microsoft Outlook 2003. When I send emails, the record history function does not record the history in ACT. In Outlook, I go to Tools/ Options/ Act tab/ History Options. The "record history to contacts in the following ACT! database" is grayed out - I am unable to edit the path. Where do I need to go, or setting I need to change so I can edit the path? Thanks Jack
