I have ACT! by Sage 2007 (9.0) Version 220.127.116.11, Hotfix 1
I use Outlook Express for my email.
None of the "advanced" features buttons are active which includes adding hyperlinks.
I have set the preferences to HTML but when I click on an email address in a contact, the text version of the email client is activated.

ACT! is working properly. This is a limitation of Outlook Express that doesn't allow external applications to use HTML formatting.
