Turn of ACT.Outlook.Service.exe

Hi if you don't use mail integration, can you turn this off?

Is the right way to do that to go in msconfig and unbock it at the startup tab?

Can you change any of this setings within ACT! insted?

If you whant integration with Lotus Notes insted of Outlook, do you still turn this of?

Re: Turn of ACT.Outlook.Service.exe

Yes, you can disable the service from startup using MSCONFIG.  You will also need to uncheck Microsoft Outlook as the email system to use through the Tools/Preferences/Email/Email System Setup process.

Disabling this service will not affect the ability to integrate with Lotus Notes.

Note: Effective 6/1/13, Sage no longers provides support for the Act! software. This is now provided by Swiftpage.
