Trouble loading ACT 2006 version 8

I recently puchased a new workstation, AMD Athlon 64 3800, running XP Pro, Microsoft Office 2003........nothing special. I loaded all the usual software we use here at the Company, but when I went to load ACT, the process stalled at   C:\...MSSQL$ACT7\Install\sysmessages.sym

Does anybody know what this is and how to get past it?   Thanks for your help all!!

Often it looks like its stalled on this file but it can take a while to get past it.  Try the installation again and you should be OK
