Trouble Syncing From the Remote Database

I work off a remote database where we all sync to a Publisher.  I've never had trouble before but now when I try to sync, the Syncronize Now option is grayed out but the Accept Incoming Syncs has become available.  It seems like I have somehow become a Publisher database.  

 

If I go to Help -> About Act -> Database Information and look at the Sync Role, there is nothing written in the box.  Sync Enabled is still listed as True.

 

How did I end up removed from the ability to sync and how do I get re-connected with the original Publisher Databse?

The only way to resolve the situation that your database is in is to create a new remote database and export the data from the old remote into the new remote or import the data from the old remote into the new remote.  My personal preference is to export the data from the old remote into the new remote.
