I purchased an upgrade to ACT10.0 to be able to use it on my new laptop which runs Windows Vista. I also installed the new version of ACT on my desktop computer which runs Windows XP. I tried to get support from ACT to assist in my synchronization setup, called them three times, and they never finished the job online before my 30 day setup warranty expired.
I have been unable to successfully set up the synchronization feature between the two computers on my own. The computers connect wireless in a network at my home office. I am concerned that perhaps the remote database was set up wrong by the ACT support person as the error message received shows a different name for the database and user. I'm really not sure what the problem is. I haven't been able to figure out how to get this to work.
