Trouble Installing on Mac - virtual PC using parallels

When I tried to install Act on a MAC virtual PC using parallels, it failed.  I got the following messages during install:

Prereq has encountered a problem and needs to close.

PDestroy.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close.

Prereq has encountered a problem and needs to close.

Machineconfigupdater.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close.

(This came up a total of 3 times)

SecurityCmdLnApp.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close.

Microsoft .NET Assembly Registration Utility has encountered a problem and needs to close.

(this came up a total of 9 times)

Setup has encountered an error.  Please contact support.

Act.Outlook.Service has encountered a problem and needs to close.

Act! by Sage has encountered a problem and needs to close.

It would not open after that.  Can anyone shed any light on how I can get around these problems?  The first time this happened, I uninstalled it and reinstalled for the same result.

Thank you!

I would suggest that you might try copying the files from the CD to the local drive and then run the installation. If this fails you should look in the knowledgebase there are some instructions on manual installation.
