Transfering Task List

We recently had an employee leave and need to transfer his task list to there replacement. Is there a way to get this done without having to do each individual task/

Thanks

we are currently using Sage ACT! Premium 2013 Version 15.1.108.0

Re: Transfering Task List

Edit each desired task and click the "schedule for" button?

Re: Transfering Task List

the way i'm reading that is i would have to do it for each task. Is there a way to select a group of them and schedule them for a different person on my team.

Easiest way may be to simply change the user name? Edit the name of user that left and change it to new user name - Not sure there is any other way to perform a group change as you are wanting. But changing the user name should do it? If that is a workable solution? Smiley Happy

Tools/Manage Users/Edit User Information ...

I'm just guessing - Be sure to backup your database daily and b4 making major changes. ACT! / File / Backup / Database ...

Re: Transfering Task List

I agree, changing the out-going user's login details/ name and then having the new user log in with those details is usually the easiest way.

There is another way though, if you run through the process to 'delete' the user, you'll have to option to reassign everything (activities, records, opportunities etc) from the deleted user to any other user. The deletion is permanent so I'd definitely recommend taking a backup prior to doing this though.
